Kirkland Ministries, Inc. is in Bexar County. Established in 2007 as a sole proprietorship and was incorporated on June 15, 2016, as a for-profit corporation. Initially, we focused on stabilizing children and adolescents in the foster care system.
In 2008, Kirkland Ministries, Inc. changed to focus on providing ongoing support for children and families with diagnostic disorders.
Currently, we provide long-term care for individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities and mental health case management for children and families.
Under the governing authority of Texas Medicaid Health Partners (TMHP), Texas Health and Human Services, & Managed Care Organizations, we assist individuals in transitioning from institutions, state facilities, nursing homes, etc. and help them integrate into the community.
We are passionate about servicing Bexar County. We aim to mitigate the gaps in community resources, decrease recidivism into state institutions, and reduce the waitlist for much-needed community programs.
