for Young Adulthood
This program is designed for adolescents, 14 – 17 years old. We use an evidence-based curriculum to facilitate the adolescents’ transition into adulthood. The curriculum provides intense instruction on financial management, securing and maintaining employment, securing and maintaining a stable home, unplanned pregnancy, teenage parenting, and more.
This program is designed to provide intense, individualized support to children or adolescents and their families through a team approach. For more information, please visit https://nwi.pdx.edu/wraparound-basics/.
We are certified to assess the child or adolescent using the Children and Adolescent Needs and Strengths Assessments to determine their level of care. After completing the assessment, the interdisciplinary team develops an action plan to address treatment needs further.
Children or adolescents may experience intense situations, traumatic events, or even environments that present a challenge to them. They may not understand how to cope, where to secure help, etc. We use an evidence-based practice model that assists the child and adolescent in developing safety goals, implementing those goals, cultivating strategies, and building knowledge of community resources for on-going support.
